Hey your dad is quite the gardener. Really, window boxes are hard. I love geraniums and have red ones in my garden.

Beautiful Geramiums!
The whole ensemble is perfect for a happy window!
(Unfortunately most of my bloomers are dying down from the heat)

I love the way that little lavendar stuff(?) looks next to the pale green.

Are those geraniums? My mum grew geraniums in pots inside every window sill when I was a kid. They have a distinctive scent.. not that nice, truth be told, but a whiff of them always makes me five years old again. Grin.

CHEWY said...

Yes, the are red geraniums, yellow marigolds, vinca vines and the purple ones are... um... I don't know.

A scent? I've never noticed a scent... just kind of a green smell. (giggle)

How come the curtains are drawn, is your house messy? (Trying to peek through the cracks..)

CHEWY said...

HEY! No peeking!
That's a window into the garage where there is a dressing room and storage for pool stuff, towels, noodles and such.

I love the way the colors stand out against the white house in this picture.

Shrinky has a good eye. I didn't even realize there were drawn curtins in the picture.

Shrinky said...

Noodles? Knew it must be messy, are they cooked, trodden in and past their sell by date?

I'd sack your cleaner if I were you (teehee)..

CHEWY said...

cj,
White garage. No peeking!

Shrinky,
They are wet noodles with me floating in the soup.

I'm with Dilly, if I could, I would relax in the shade of your flowers and watch you paint! lol

CHEWY said...

You could float in the pool and watch me paint. (smile)

Your father must be a Wonderful, caring and loving person to have planted such a beautiful flower box. Tell me,,, in addition to the previously mentioned laurels, is he also a handsom man? I'm willing to bet he is and his identical twin Brother is even more talented and handsomer. Just wondering.

CHEWY said...

Dear Anon,
Have you been peeking over my fence? They are both handsome and covered in freckles. Smart too! They watch Jeopardy and finish crossword puzzles. The swwetest, nicest identical twins in the world... even when they get on my nerves.

CHEWY said...

Too bad I can't spell. LOL!

Ms. Creek said...

ahhh our dad was an identical twin! i never met darrel, but i've heard lots of stories! i have identical twin girls, too. that's a cool thing to know about your dad, chewy!

ewwwwwwwwww, how perfect

Highly sketchable. Your geraniums are much more dramatic than our desert ones.

And I agree with Shrinky--the smell is weird.
