March Roars In

All this came down over night. I hated shoveling snow when I was a teen. You know, when your parents hung allowance over your head in order to get you to do your chores? Backbreaking, slave drivers!

Now, it's a totally different experience. After brushing off the Jeeps and shoveling, I feel rather invigorated. Cold stimulating my blood, muscles filled with adrenalin and the satisfaction of completing the task. Well, truth be told, I didn't have to shovel the entire walkway and drive... we do have a snowblower. (grin)

At present is a lull in the storm, more is still to fall. Think I'll take a little nap. (chuckle)

Oh
My
God!!
I am stunned - does your winter never end? Jeez, poor you.. and a huge pat on the back for all your sterling efforts today. Brrrr, I am shivering just thinking about it. (I had to chuckle over the aside about how parents dangle allowance money as barter for chores.. I had my eldest scrubbing lichen off the roof this week end, tee-hee!)

I couldnt brush the snow off here as it was ice laden. I had to use the scraper to loosen the snow then brush. I am very very tired of winter.

Love it ours looked the same this morning. I'll be posting pics, but the crazy thing is we'll be up to 70 degrees on Sunday. Snow never lasts in VA.

Shrinky,
I wish it would end. I think I earned my allowance today. (wink)

Looks like we got slightly more snow than you! I took the kids outside with me - and locked the house so they had to stay outside with me. Didn't work. They still didn't help, despite me saying no one could go back inside till the job was done!
