Ms Creek, I've been gifting some of the ocean critters to my family members who all vacationed together.
Celebration, I never found a real live seahorse. I had a dried one from a store when I was a kid. - Oh! My brother caught a funny creature at the Cape. He had it in a little beach pail. It had a head like a seahorse but a body like a snake... about 8 inches long. - I must google for it.

I once had a real seahorse that my mom got somewhere. I also have a silver seahorse pine.

It was a pipefish. Elongated body with a head like a seahorse and tiny mouth.
Great design,,,love how the spirals echo his tail.

Never heard of a pipefish,,,Google-ing now,,,
