Day of the Dead...

Yesterday a friend and I spent three hours walking and reading an old cemetery. The earliest death we found was 1711. This cemetery has a wide variety of gravestones, monuments and crypts.

Fascinating!
I love looking at old cemeteries. Some of the inscriptions on the stones are so imaginative, and so telling of the times.

Have I ever told you how much I like your haircut on you? Perfect face shape to wear a style that (in my opinion) isn't easy to wear.

Hi Babs,
Sorry I haven't been making the blog rounds as I've been busy with things off-line. Me and my neighbor spent 3 hours in this cemetery yesterday. Fascinating! I took lots of photos of the angel type images carved into brownstone gravestones.

Thanks for the complement. (blush) My hair is freshly shorn. I let it grow for about 2 months, then I color it myself and get it buzzed off again. I take to wearing hats in the cold months.

Boo! Those gravestones look pretty old - unlike you. Not fair! Do you bathe in virgins blood, or something? I just love visiting old cemeteries, what an apt time you chose to take yourself off there.

wow, 1711! We enjoy cemetary visits, too, somewhat fascinating, aren't they? Those are really cool headstones, too! Pleasure comes from the simplest of things, doesn't it?

Shrinky,
Yes, I bathe in virgin's blood... how did you guess?

Ah well - I'm safe enough, then. (Grin)
